Channa Curry




Bengal Gram:100g, MTB Chana Masala: 2 tbsp, Green Chillies split: 1, Sliced Onion: 1, Medium sized Potato: 1, Medium sized Tomato: 1, Tamarind: The size of a lemon, Molasses:1 tsp, Oil: 1 tbsp, Coriander Leaves: As required, Salt: To taste


Wash and clean Bengal gram, soak in water for 8 - 10 hours and cook well. Heat oil and sauté tomato, onion and green chilly. Take a little water and add MTB Chana Masala Powder to make slurry. Add this slurry to sautéed ingredients and cooked Bengal gram and boil. Cook potato and slice it into oval pieces and fry. Add the fried potatoes, tamarind water, molasses and salt to cooked Bengal gram, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
